This past weekend, over 6,000 runners from around the world flocked to San Martín de los Andes, Argentina for the most important Trail and Ultra Trail event in South America — the Patagonia Run.

In the heart of Patagonia’s stunning natural environment, the 2nd stop of the Spartan Trail World Championship saw seven distances ranging from 10k to 100 miles. Through towering mountains, thick forest, with breathtaking views of lakes and rivers, the world’s best runners poured their heart and soul into this epic trail.

A big congrats to Sergio Pereyra and Claudia Tremps for winning the 100-mile Trail Ultra race, and Antonio Martinez and Nuria Gil for taking the 42k Trail Run race.
